I've wanted to start a site about 2002 mustangs. That would Be because I have one. It is black Gt. A loaded black on black 5 speed.I bought it around 3 years ago and have never enjoyed one car so much. Thinking back over the years and the cars I have owned, I don't understand why it took me over 20 years to buy one and I have plans to buy at least two more. One of those to be a 2004 cobra SVT, but i am getting ahead of myself. Let me go back to the beginning.
One day about five years ago my girlfriend called to tell me she bought a new car it was a 1999 Mustang and wanted me to check if out. As I was on my way home for work. I said I would be over later. My went on home to get cleaned up and change cloths. When she called to tell me she was on her way. I told her I would meet her at a near by gas station which was about half way for both of us. When I turned the corner she was standing inside the door posing like a model and grinning from ear to ear. What she had bought. Was a red 99 six cylinder 5 speed. Well after she had drove me around for about an hour. I asked if I could drive.I thought well it’s a v 6 so I didn't expect much. I have to say for a six cylinder I was impressed. The handling and power were not to bad. As I went up through the gears I thought to myself, what would a v8 do? Well after months and months of searching I found the one I wanted and here it is. it is a 2002 Gt loaded with all options-including a Mach 460 6 disk cd.
It’s been five years and I still have the car and as for my girlfriend she is now my wife. I guess I will keep them both.Anyway let me bring you up to speed. My house will be paid off in April 2011 and that will free up lot of cash. I plan on spending a good chunk of that change on my ride. That is why I want to get 4th gen mustang up in running.I have already starting to make changes and improvements with parts I ordered from American Muscle. That's all for now. Later
